Notes on samples nomenclature:

The first part of the sample description consists of the gene symbol provided in the HOCOMOCO metadata and verified by HGNC, the second part contains the HOCOMOCO matrix Id.

Technical Notes

The hg19 genome assembly was scanned with each log-odds PWM independently using PWMScan with a P-value threshold of 0.00001 and background frequencies of 0.29,0.21,0.21,0.29 for A,C,G,T respectively. Motif instance coordinates were then converted to sga format by considering the middle position of each hit as the motif coordinate.
